Maintenance of the irrigation system
Opening (in the spring)
To ensure that your controller is working properly, we will do a complete test, and make adjustments to the watering and check the sprinklers and make adjustments to the sprinklers if needed. Any digging or breakage will be mentioned to the customer and will be charged in addition to the maintenance contract. Before proceeding with repairs, a proposal will be given to the customer.
Closing (in the fall)
Winter protection: To protect the irrigation system from damage due to freezing water during the winter, the irrigation system must be drained by blowing air into the system to flush the water out of the system before there is any risk of frost damage.
Blowout Drainage: The recommended method is fall blowout using an air compressor powerful enough to adequately remove water from the irrigation system. Under no circumstances should blowing develop a pressure greater than the capacity of the irrigation system.
